Yay uses a simple, end-of-week billing system so you don’t have to pay for meals upfront.
When you’re charged:
Your payment method on file will be charged each Saturday morning for all activity from that week.
What’s included in your weekly bill:
- Pre-ordered lunches from your Lunch Calendar
- Any in-person Yay Café purchases made during the week
- Any applicable fees (such as late order fees, if applicable)
How it works:
Throughout the week, your orders and purchases are tracked in your account and confirmed via email, but you are not charged at the time of ordering or purchase. Instead, everything is grouped together into one convenient weekly charge.
Receipts and tracking:
- You’ll receive order confirmations following checkout for pre-ordered lunches
- You’ll also receive same-day receipts for any in-person café purchases
- These notifications help you keep track of activity before billing is processed
Credits and discounts:
Any available credits or gift card balances on your account will be automatically applied to your total before your card is charged.
